1. Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

Words with an initial capital letter have the meanings defined below. These definitions have the same meaning whether they appear in singular or plural.

Definitions

• Account means an account created to access StreamOX or parts of the Service.
• Application means the StreamOX desktop software.
• Company, we, us, or our means StreamOX.
• Device means a computer or other device on which StreamOX is used.
• Google User Data means data received from Google or YouTube APIs, including authorized and derived data.
• Personal Data means information relating to an identified or identifiable person.
• Service means the StreamOX Application and related StreamOX services.
• Service Provider means a person or company processing data on our behalf to operate, secure, or support the Service.
• Usage Data means technical and diagnostic data generated through use of the Service.
• You means the individual or legal entity using the Service.

2. Information We Collect

Account and Contact Information

Depending on the features you use, we may process information such as your account identifier, email address, support correspondence, purchase status, subscription status, and application settings.

Usage and Diagnostic Data

We may process limited technical and diagnostic information necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Service. This may include application version, operating system information, error reports, timestamps, IP address, and technical identifiers.

Streaming Platform and Donation-Service Data

StreamOX may process events and information received from streaming platforms and supported donation services, including subscriptions, followers, channel rewards, donations, and related alert data.

Some of this information may be stored locally on your Device in the StreamOX event log so that you can review historical events and manage alerts.

3. YouTube API Services and Google User Data

StreamOX uses YouTube API Services to provide user-facing tools for YouTube livestream creators, including live chat integration, livestream information, subscriber alerts and chat-bot functionality.

Google and YouTube Data We Access

Depending on the StreamOX features you use and the permissions you grant, StreamOX may access and process:

• YouTube channel name, channel ID, channel URL, and channel profile image;
• information about your current YouTube livestreams;
• livestream statistics, including current viewer count;
• YouTube live chat messages and information made available by YouTube about their authors;
• subscriber information made available through the YouTube API;
• messages submitted to YouTube live chat through StreamOX chat-bot functionality;
• Google OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens needed to maintain the authorized YouTube connection;
• historical YouTube subscription-event records stored locally in the StreamOX event log, including the subscriber's publicly available display name and the event date and time.

StreamOX does not request or receive your Google password.

Information Stored on and Accessed from Your Device

The StreamOX desktop application stores and accesses certain information directly on and from your Device using local application files and encrypted local storage.

This locally stored information may include:

• encrypted Google OAuth access and refresh tokens;
• the publicly available display name associated with a detected YouTube subscription event;
• the event type and event date and time;
• temporary YouTube channel, broadcast, video, and subscription data required by active StreamOX features;
• StreamOX application settings and temporary cached data.

This information is stored only on your Device. StreamOX does not transmit or store Google OAuth tokens, YouTube subscriber information, or YouTube event-log records on StreamOX servers.

The StreamOX desktop application does not place, access, or recognize cookies or similar tracking technologies on users' devices or browsers and does not allow third parties to do so through the desktop application.

The StreamOX website may use browser local storage solely to remember the visitor's language selection. This information is not used for advertising, profiling, cross-service tracking, or identifying the visitor and is not transmitted to StreamOX servers.

How We Use Google and YouTube Data

StreamOX uses Google and YouTube data only to provide or improve user-facing features requested by you, including to:

• connect your YouTube channel to StreamOX;
• display YouTube live chat messages in the StreamOX multichat interface;
• operate StreamOX chat-bot functionality;
• display livestream information and statistics;
• detect and display subscriber alerts;
• display historical YouTube events in the local StreamOX event log;
• maintain your authorized YouTube connection;
• diagnose and correct technical problems affecting the YouTube integration.

Google and YouTube data is not used for targeted advertising, personalized advertising, retargeting, credit scoring, lending, surveillance, or the creation of data-broker or information-reseller databases.

StreamOX does not use raw, aggregated, anonymized, or derived Google or YouTube user data to train or improve general-purpose artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

Storage of YouTube Live Chat Messages

YouTube live chat messages are processed in real time by the StreamOX desktop application. StreamOX does not store the content of YouTube live chat messages, either locally or on StreamOX servers.

Local Event Log

StreamOX stores a local event log on your Device. When a YouTube subscription event is detected, StreamOX may create a YouTube-derived event-log entry containing only the subscriber's publicly available display name, the event type, and the event date and time.

• new YouTube subscriber events;
• donations received through supported donation services;
• follower and subscription events received from other supported streaming platforms;
• other streaming events enabled by you.

StreamOX does not store the YouTube subscriber's channel ID, channel URL, profile image, or the raw YouTube API response in the local event log.

Donation information and events received from platforms other than YouTube are not Google or YouTube user data unless they were obtained through Google or YouTube APIs.

The local event log is used only to provide event-history and alert-management features. It is not uploaded to StreamOX servers and is not used for advertising, profiling, data brokerage, credit scoring, lending, or AI model training.

Historical records are displayed with their original event date and time so that users can distinguish historical information from current data.

OAuth Token Storage

Google OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens are stored locally on your Device in encrypted form. StreamOX does not store these tokens on StreamOX servers.

OAuth tokens are retained only while your YouTube account remains connected and while the tokens are required to provide the requested integration.

Sharing and Transfer of Google and YouTube Data

StreamOX does not sell Google or YouTube user data.

StreamOX does not share Google or YouTube user data with advertisers, data brokers, information resellers, business partners, or other third parties for advertising, marketing, or promotional purposes.

The general data-sharing provisions elsewhere in this Privacy Policy do not apply to Google or YouTube user data and do not authorize its use or disclosure for any purpose prohibited by the Google API Services User Data Policy or the YouTube API Services Developer Policies.

Retention, Refresh, and Anonymization of Google and YouTube Data

StreamOX does not create permanent server-side archives of YouTube live chat, subscriber or OAuth-token data.

Current YouTube channel, broadcast, video, and subscription information is refreshed while the corresponding StreamOX feature is active. Temporary cached copies are overwritten by newly retrieved API Data or deleted when they are no longer required.

A YouTube-derived event-log entry may retain the subscriber's publicly available display name for no longer than 30 calendar days after the event was detected.

No later than 30 calendar days after collection, StreamOX automatically and permanently removes the subscriber's display name from the event-log entry. After anonymization, only the event type and event date and time remain. StreamOX cannot use the remaining information to identify or retrieve the original YouTube user or channel.

Google OAuth access and refresh tokens are retained in encrypted local storage only while the YouTube account remains connected and only for as long as required to provide the requested integration.

Revoking YouTube Access

You may disconnect your YouTube account through the StreamOX Application.

When YouTube is disconnected:

• StreamOX immediately stops requesting data from your YouTube account;
• StreamOX sends a token-revocation request to Google;
• locally stored Google OAuth access and refresh tokens are deleted;
• YouTube integration features become unavailable until the account is reconnected.

Disconnecting YouTube does not delete the local event log. YouTube-derived event-log entries remain subject to the 30-day anonymization process described above. The subscriber's display name is permanently removed no later than 30 calendar days after the event was detected.

You may also revoke StreamOX access through Google's third-party account access settings .

You may delete your local StreamOX event history through the functionality available in the Application. You may also remove local Application data by uninstalling StreamOX or deleting its application data from your Device.

Deleting information stored by StreamOX does not delete information stored by YouTube. Information stored in your YouTube account must be deleted through YouTube or another authorized YouTube client.

Security of Google and YouTube Data

StreamOX uses technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect Google and YouTube data, including:

• encrypted local storage of Google OAuth access and refresh tokens;
• HTTPS/TLS encryption for communication with Google and YouTube API Services;
• processing only the data needed for the requested YouTube functionality;
• no server-side storage of YouTube live chat messages;
• no server-side storage of Google OAuth access or refresh tokens;
• controls designed to prevent unauthorized access to StreamOX systems.

Google Limited Use Compliance

StreamOX's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements.

StreamOX uses YouTube API Services in accordance with the YouTube Terms of Service and the YouTube API Services Developer Policies .

4. How We Use Personal Data

We may use Personal Data to:

• provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service;
• manage your Account and access to application features;
• process purchases, subscriptions, licenses, and related contractual obligations;
• respond to support requests and communicate important service or security information;
• detect, prevent, and investigate technical problems, abuse, or unlawful activity;
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements;
• analyze general usage trends and improve the Service, where permitted by law.

5. Disclosure of Personal Data

We may disclose non-Google Personal Data in limited circumstances:

• to Service Providers acting on our behalf to host, secure, maintain, or support the Service;
• when required by applicable law, court order, or valid request from a public authority;
• to protect the rights, safety, property, and security of StreamOX, users, or the public;
• in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards;
• with your explicit consent.

These general disclosure provisions do not apply to Google or YouTube user data except where disclosure is expressly permitted by applicable Google policies, required to provide the user-requested functionality, or required by law.

6. Retention of Personal Data

We retain Personal Data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the Service.

Local event-log information remains on your Device until you delete it, remove the Application data, or uninstall StreamOX, except where the Application automatically removes data to comply with platform requirements.

7. International Data Processing

Information may be processed in countries other than your country of residence. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards designed to ensure that Personal Data remains protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

8. Your Rights and Data Deletion

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your Personal Data.

You may delete certain locally stored data from within StreamOX or by removing the Application data from your Device. You may also contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of Personal Data processed by us.

We may retain limited information where required by law or where another lawful basis permits or requires retention.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect Personal Data. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with Personal Data, contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

Where applicable law requires a higher minimum age or parental consent, we follow those requirements.

11. Links to Other Websites

The Service may contain links to websites or services not operated by StreamOX. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of each third-party service you use.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will publish the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date.

Where appropriate, we may also provide notice through the Application or another reasonable communication method before material changes take effect.
